Please help me assemble my frames
VERY newbee question here-
I have 50 medium frames to assemble, and no jig or stapler. The instructions say to use (2) 1 1/4" nails at each corner. Hmmm, I guess I'm carpentry challenged, hehehe, because I can't figure out which way to put the nails in. Parallel to the top bar and through the side bars? Or straight down from the top of the top bar? Or some other way completely? And what about the bottom bar? The groove seems like it would allow the bottom bar to break in the corner if I tried to nail it. Help! (think, instructions for dummies, please)

OK, lets get this in the correct thread
(accidentally posted it in another thread I have going)
Well, it looks like there are as many ways to nail together a frame as there are in everything else in beekeeping LOL! Thank you everyone for all the links, it is much appreciated.

Re: Please help me assemble my frames
A little wood glue at each joint really helps. It makes the frames a lot stronger, and the nails less important.
