I have not moved hives to pumpkins before. A few questions. 1) Is there much of a nectar source there? 2) Any issues that I should be looking out for? 3) They are wanting one hive per acre, is this enough? Scott

that should be more than enough for pumpkins... they are kinda nice as they have a long pollen season.... (several weeks of flowering.) they are purpotedly hard on bees though due to a lot of pesticides, and low flower density.
