do i need to requeen

I bought 5 packages of bees for my tbh. Talking to other bee keeps they say i should change all me queens to queens from my area. the bees i got are from George. They are doing great but will they make it through winter? Thank you for any advice .

No, you don't need to requeen. If you want local genetics, you can requeen them in a year or two when your current queens get old. If they are doing great, don't mess with them. There are a number of reasons why they may not survive the winter. The queens being from Georgia probably isn't the most likely reason.
