Wondering when should the honey supers come off?
Is there a right and a wrong time for taking them off?

There's a bunch of different ways. You can pull, extract and put the supers back on for the next flow. Or, you can keep adding supers until it's time to harvest and pull them all then. If you're treating with chemicals, you'll want to pull them before you put hard chemicals on. You can extract then. A lot depends on your equipment, your "game plan" and your nectar flow.
"My wife always wanted girls. Just not thousands and thousands of them......"
leave them on until your ready to extract. the bees will keep wax moths and other pest out until your ready....... setting supers in the shed is an invitation to pest from ant to rats....
