I’ m Greg – Virginia’s husband. Portia told her that you had gotten a colony. I’m not the most experience beekeep in the Farmington area, but if you need something let me and I’ll see what I can do to help. There are some very good beekeepers in this area.

Welcome back to beekeeping. One of the toughest things here is the limited forage. All the other stuff, like the weather and the pests and diseases are common to every other beek in the country I think. We don't seem to have small hive beetles here (yet), and moisture inside the hives isn't much of a problem.
