Newcomer to forum

Hi, I'm Carole from Melbourne Australia and I currently keep 12 hives in my garden. Bees are still flying, but the hives are packed down for winter. Swarming season here starts in mid September, so there's not much to do till spring except lifting the hives to check if they are heavy enough, or need feeding.
I'm interested in Mead, and currently have several batches of mead, and some fruit wines which are sweetened with honey fermenting in a spare room. Will have to wait a while for the mead though.
