Hello,

I have been watching both hives since I installed two nucs in March-I have been noticing that one hive seems a lot stronger than the other. Both queens appear to have a good laying pattern and no major pest problems are present, but one hive is about one super ahead on honey production after such a short time (the stronger hive has already filled out most of the super so we just added a new one for them).

Is this just that one hive may have had more bees, or should I be concerned that the queen of the less productive hive needs to be replaced? As I am going to be getting into the hives tomorrow- is there anything in particular I should be looking for?
