Hello from San Diego County

Hello! I've been wanting to keep bees for a couple years, and had my first hive delivered by a local beekeeper this past Saturday. So far, so good! I'm so excited to finally get going.

I live in a little town in the mountains, east of San Diego, and I commute into the city for work. Weekends I avoid leaving home at all costs , so I can enjoy the scenery, as well as our dogs, chickens, cats and pet goose named Sally.

I'm loving this forum, and have been reading and absorbing everything like a sponge.
