Hi everyone, My name is Rhonda and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio, my city passed some new laws that makes it legal to have bees and chickens in the city again. I started taking some classes through Medina Beekeepers. Yesterday I installed bees in my first hive. Hope to have a second one in 2010, gotta let my husband know I can do this before I start pushing for the second one. I'm really glad I found your site I've learned alot already by reading your posts. It's great knowing everyone is so helpful and having all this knowledge at my fingertips gives me the confidence to go for it. Thanks

This is a great site for learning more about bees & beekeeping. Glad to hear you've already connected with a beekeeping club. Much of beekeeping is "location specific" and clubs are good for learning the local knowledge and for finding mentors.
