I have had bee keepers in my family before I was born. I thought I should start giving it a try. I am looking at maybe starting with a Top Bar hive, but I don't know... What do you got for some input???

Glad to hear you are carrying on the family traditions of beeking! I only do langstroth hives so am no good at giving input on TBH, but best of luck to you and hope you enjoy the beeking as much as I do!
