    Default A big huge bee?

Hubby just called me and said that he was out by my hive and a really big bee flew out of the hive, buzzed around him and then went back in. He said it looked just like the others, except bigger and longer and maybe a little darker...could this be the queen? Why would she be out? Should I worry? He said everything else looked normal, normal activity at the entrances and no fighting or dead bees on the ground...

    Your thoughts?

A big drone? I have significant doubts that it's your queen.

Last year I had a queen come out and went back in after flying around a bit. It wound up getting superceded.
