I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this post, but if it isn't my appoligies to the group and moderator, please move. HR 875 is a bill in committe at the moment that will affect the way all of use market honey or any other farm product. In Canada it is C 51. A link to the bill is http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h111-875 and a link to some comments on the bill are http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=12671 As with anything there are comments from one extream to another. Is there anyone here familar with this legislation that can add some comments? A link for the Canidian bill is http://www2.parl.gc.ca/HousePublications/Publication.aspx?DocId=3398126&File=45

I think you bring up a very relevant topic

In my view and research there is an incredible amount of misinformation on the internet concerning the proposed food safety bills. Much of the misinformation is being generated from libertarian sources and in some cases is downright misleading and wrong.

One of the best sources of info on the 2-3 food safety bills is found here

Thanks for the links. It sounds like the language is pretty open for intepritation. But also not as bad as some of the other articles I've read. It looks like its a good one to keep a close eye on as it comes out of committee and goes to the house. Hopefully it will never make it that far.
