I am not sure. I always use powder to prepare the patties.

No it is not. Remember, the pollen as you have it is how we took it from them in the first place and they are used to dealing with it that way.

You can add warm water to the pollen and let it sit overnight.
Or, put the water and pollen in a blender and mix it if you are in a hurry.
