Looking for some information.. March 5 had a swarm land in my yard.( all drones surrounded the queen in a huge pile). Late Saturday they left. Yesterday spotted them in a large water oak in my backyard. They appear to be trying to make a neston the end of a branch. There is not any cavities in this area. The branch is about 20 ft up. Its located directly over my house and near my back door. Kids and dogs...Have contacted Clemson Extention office and several beekeepers about the swarm. (All the exterminators wanted to kill them)The bees did as they said- left the area. Now with the possible nest have made some phone calls. Will they move on or need to have removed? Thanks for any help.
