KS/MO beekeepers meeting

I went to my first bee club get together this weekend. Living out in the sticks and being a night shift worker I cant make it to meetings very easy. But I did headed down to this one after work to learn some, see a friend, and meet others, and that I did. First thing they do is cram mead down your throat! or I mean, learn how to make mead!which I really needed badly after all them hard hours of work the night before!(It was very tasty BB, good job and thank you). After that its all a buzz. Actually I learned a bunch of things and met alot of real good folks. Most of all I was hanging out w/ folks that like them bee's like I do.
Having been my first trip I dont have any reference but I think the KS/MO groups put up a top notch get together. My hats off to them for doing this and all the people that spoke and volunteered. And to all the folks I met, good to see you. Hope our paths cross again and often(especially if there is some mead being passed around in gallon jugs!)

I sent you a post. Sorry I didn't let you know of this one. There is a beginner class coming up 3/22 and 3/29(2 1/2 day class) in the afternoon @ Jeffco fairgrounds. I sent you the contact number.
Kansas and Missouri announced their fall meeting. Missouri is on Halloween weekend in Jeff City and I dont remember when KS was. I can find out if interested?
