foodsafe wood for frames
hello folks,
I am a Canadian (Southern Ontario) newcomer to bee forum. I was very favourably impressed by the high standards the forum requires for members. Can anybody tell me if basswood or red elm are safe or practical to use for honey and brood frames. I build my own Langstroth hives and these wood varieties are readily available to me at low cost and high quality.
