    Default Beekeeping Sticker

I purchased 9 window stickers on eBay some time back that are "just for fun" novelties for beekeepers. The sticker is red with black letters on white background and says "Beekeepers Parking Only" and then gives a parking number. The number is the same on all of the stickers.

Anyway, I came out of a strip shop from my PT session and passed a car that was parked behind my PU. As I got into my PU the lady from the car got out and called to me. I acknowledged her and she came over to ask if I was a beekeeper because she saw that sticker on the back window of my PU.

They moved to M'boro from up north some time back and her husband use to keep bees. She wanted to know if there was an association here. I said yes and that we are having a meeting next Monday night at 7PM at the AG Center. I gave her directions, invited her and her husband to come next Monday and looked forward to seeing them there. As I pulled away she was writing the information down while sitting in her car.

So something so small as a novelty sticker can be enough to help get others involved in beekeeping.

BTW, I gave the 8 others away at our last meeting. Some people seemed to good to want one of them. Hope the 8 people put them on the back window of their vehicles!!

Had a guy moton me off the road at a red light. Thought at first I had made him mad, but he just wanted to know if I could get bees out of his chimney. Said he saw my stickers. People do notice them.
