It took the authorities almost a year, but the hobbyist NZ beek who sold honey that poisoned a bunch of people is going on trial.
It's an interesting story, sure makes me glad we don't have any poisonous plants around that can turn honey a toxic treat.

A couple of years ago I read that kiwis eat more honey per head than any other country in the world. If so, then the National Honey Board and American Honey Producers Association ought to invite a few of them over here to learn how to market honey, because neither organization has shown much talent for the task.
