Reason: add a note
The mayhaw tree grows wild all up and down the Neches river bottom. I have three here, and they have been blooming for almost two weeks. Without spraying for cedar rust, all you'll get in deformed, knobby, and totally inedible little berries. They say that mayhaw extracts is very good for the heart. I dunno about that, but pair up mayhaw jelly with a hot bisquit, and am a satisfied man....LOL
you better make me some ... jelly
