You spray individual frames without bees. Really it's
    more of a misting.

This may seem a silly question but what is the “life" of the product after it has been activated and sprayed. I would assume if the item gets rained on you might need to re-apply ie trees, veggies, the like. But how long will it last after it is say, sprayed on the combs, 3 months, one year, forever if you don't have bees cleaning out the cells? Same as Certan or is it more virulent.
This would appear from the search that this is an organic substitute for Moth Crystals ( Paradichlorobenziwhatever), is this a correct assumption? Any down side, or limitations that you have experience or heard of from this type of product.
    Thanks RKR

This has a 3 day shelf life after re-hydration. This is
    due to simple organic decomposition.

Once sprayed and dry the spores remain viable for
a long time. How long?? Many months for sure, and
    likely years.

I spray my apple orchard spring and fall only. Garden
    as needed.

It is the same subspecies as Certan, but for a lot less
$$$ and I really like the dry form for storage.

That's at the very max rate of 4 teaspoons per gallon
Zane. Recommended rates are 1/2 that or less. The
insert shows the majority of recommended rates at
    1/2 teaspoonful to 1 1/2 tsp.

So you could multiple my estimate by as much as a
factor of 8. But even at the max rate it's pretty
    cheap stuff.

Webworm aka Bagworm has a rate of 1/2 to 1 tsp
    per gallon.

Sundance, this may be a stupid question but here goes. If xentari kills the wax moth larva and the residue stays in the comb, what keeps it from killing the bee larva if you use the drawn comb in the brood box, and thanks for the fast shipping. Jack

Jack......... the Bt species Aizawai is target specific
and only affects the larva listed on the insert. Fortunately
it does not affect the bee larva. Unfortunately it doesn't
affect the small hive beetle larva either...

    Hello everybody,
I have a question, Is the XenTari BT damaging the bees in any way?
In AZ is still warm and the queen still lays eggs, and we have a lot of problem with the moth.
I had a few hives fool of bees on 2 supers and still a lot of moth inside.
Can I just shake the bees of the frame and spray it with the XenTari BT, after that pot it beak in the box?
    Thanks a lot.
