Default What temperature low have you had to date?

Northern Virginia woke up this morning to 0 degrees F. Lowest temp of the season... ...plus the weather man says we have not seen sub-teen temps since 2004. I thought that odd.

How 'bout you northern boys (and girls). I can only imagine what Mike Palmer's gonna report in with

Still waitin' for real winter here 'bouts. Was a bit nippy for the last few nights. Balmy -27F Thursday night, and -24 the night before. Warmed up to -10 last night, and might make it all the way to +15 tomorrow.

    I'm startin' my tomaters tomorrow.

We had -2 yesterday morning when I got up. The weather men said that is the lowest temp in about a dozen years.

My sister is in Burlington and had -23 yesterday morning....So Mike's temps are about right being a little north of there.

12 degrees this morning. I see that's the warmest temp. on the thread so I probably shouldn't say this but, "DANG IT'S COLD!!!

Any bees in Alaska in the area where it was -60F the other day??? Wondering how they survive.

Here it was -17.8F. It's kinda cool walking outside and listening to things.... like during/after a snowstorm. Just sounds peaceful... and frigid!

    Default 3 Wheelbarrow Day

Most winter day/nights take 1-2 wheelbarrow fulls of fire wood to keep our house warm. Thusrday was a 3 wheelbarrow day.

And here I am wondering if mine will survive the upcoming 23 degrees.
