Default Saw a honey truck on the highway yesterday...

I was driving north from Tampa on US 75. I noticed a mid-sized flatbed truck that had HONEY written on the mud-flaps. On the bed were 8 to 12 55G barrels, to the front was a mesh (see through) tarp covering a bunch of lang boxes, looked like honey supers, but not sure.

I suppose they are still harvesting honey in S. Florida. Pretty cool to see bee business going on in the dead of winter.

seems like it wouldn't be the right time of year for harvesting a honey crop??? perhaps the barrels were for feeding? there use to be a lot of bees (migratory type operataion) around dade city.
