Question Is a 1st floor entrance skunk resistant?

Would moving the entrance above the first medium box discourage skunks?

Has anyone tried this? Any downside?

I've read several people eliminating the bottom entrance & drilling a hole in the upper box for skunks & killer toads.

    Sounds like it works fine.

"Just remember, if you have no bottom entrance and you use an excluder you will need some kind of drone escape on the bottom for them to get out. A 3/8" hole will do."

Thanks. I'm giving it a try. I'll report back on how well it works.
