Question Lazy Winter regression with Honey Super Cell ?

If a top hive body containing Honey Super Cell was packed with winter stores wouldn't the bees be well on their way to being Small Cell when the cluster moves up in the winter?

Acceptance of the HSC would be less of an issue since there's no place to go... And the Super Cell would have been "seasoned" by them packing in their stores.

In the spring the boxes could be reversed and a queen excluder installed above the Super Cell as needed until new comb has replace the old.

Seems like a "lazy" way to regress a colony... if it would work out that way.

    Any thoughts on this?

It might work out quite nicely.
