    Default Bees wanted

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm looking to pick up some bees in the east tennessee area. I would prefer a nuc, but at this point, would be willing to take package bees too. Please let me know if you have any you can sell, what your asking price is, and where you live (city is fine for now). Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. It would be hard to find a nuc this time of the year and impossible to find a package. they just wouldnt have time to build up. My advise would be to wait until spring then start.

I'm not too worried about buildup... we just started the fall flow, and I'm more than willing to feed and baby them all winter. If I wait until spring, they won't have time to build up before the spring flow... but by getting them now, as long as I can get them through the winter, they should be able to build up for the spring flow, might even get to split them if I'm lucky.

I've located at least one nuc, but it's a LONG drive away... but I'll get it if I can't find any closer.

IMO to accomplish what you are wanting to do. You might want to try and buy some good stong well established hives
