Robbing-Killing

Has anyone else watch one hive go in to another hive and kill the queen and take over another hive and rob it blind. I just did... I have the queen but I don't think she will make it... they were stinging the heck out of her. I have no idea if I should close up the hive and whatever bees live keep there... or what... never seen that... I knew they were weak but not that weak...

shake the bees out on the ground and store the combs before they tear them up. save them for next spring. good luck,mike

I combine them with another hive... and for about 15- 20 minutes I left just the inner cover on. The ones that were robbing won't be back... unless they were the robbers...lol
