    I saw Qt size plastic jugs at a local road side stand marked as 3Lb, was selling for 13.50.

    it depends on the density (lack of water) of your honey. this will vary depending on nectar source and where you are in the country. at this location a quart of honey will weight out at 46 oz.

    One of the bee catlogs has a conversion chart in front (if I remember front page- bottom corner). It list common sizes in oz. and grams. The gram weight is also required in my state. Sorry can't remember which one! As stated above it depends on the desity of the honey which can even vary from year to year.

    The most common weight used here is 44 oz. for a qt.
