Here in SW Mo. we are about 2 to3 weeks away from the aster and goldenrod bloom.The bees don!t work the goldenrod much,the old timers say it!s the soil type that we have is why?We do have beefsteak mint and they are all over it when it blooms,does anyone know if it is a good honey or pollen producer?In about a week from now you can walk through the woods and it sounds like your inside a bee hive.
