Garden related, but still a pest
What do you gardeners recommend to safely, but unmistakenly control squash bugs? For now, I can pick off eggs and squeeze the little hatchlings, but something tells me they could get away from me fast. My backyard hive is ten feet from the garden, so it has to be safe.
Funny, they're not attacking the squash (as their name implies) or the Jack be Little pumpkins, but going after the full-sized pumpkins like crazy. Thanks!
I think the only way is to spray them with poison early in the season, when the plants are very small. Once they start breeding, they always beat me.
Nooo! don't spray posion...that is always bad for your bees.
