honey for feed

found a bucket of honey that does not taste right like it has started to ferment (probably, as the lid was not tightly sealed) i would like to use it as feed for some late swarms but don't want to drown a bunch of bees nor do i want them to start robbing, any ideas on how to feed about 60 lbs or so of honey?

Id lay a peice of cheese cloth or some type of mesh over it if your worried about drowning and then let the girls decide if they want to feed on it.......

IMO If it is fermented I wouldnt feed it to the bees.
