    Never saw one in person, but seen one on Ebay a few days back for $23 ( BUY NOW option)

    Stay away from crap. Good refractometer is at least $350.00.

    I used to own a $350 refractometer, and when it took a one-way
    trip down the basement stairs one day on its way to being carefuly
    put away, I bought one of the $65 jobs that Dadant sells.

    Sure, the body is plastic rather than metal, but it works fine,
    and the automatic temperature control is perfect as compared
    to several honey judges, who obsess over such things.

    The "RHB-90ATC" is the one I bought, and it does everything my
    expensive one did. Several people sell these
