I think you are right.The heat took care of most of the grit taste, but I still have little specks sticking to the roof of my mouth[ upper plate] and I think you are right, it has a wax taste and feel to it.I use a elec. capping knife and have never had this problem before.I use the stainless steel double strainer and put chiffon [curtain material,doubled] between the two strainers,it usally catches everything,but not this time.Would you guy!s run it through again or just not bottle it to the bottom?[How could a elec. capping knife leave little little specks of wax in the honey?
