    Default queenless nucs

    I am putting together a few nucs early next week but my queens will not be in until Friday is it ok to leave the girls queenless for a few days?

    If they have open brood, you may find they start some queen cells. It's also harder to hold bees in queenless nucs. You might try some queen pherome to help hold them.

    I shoot for no less than 2 hours and no more than 24 hours. They will start queen cells.
