    Default honey bound

I did a late cutout.. and used 3 frames of wild comb to start them out. I have them in a 10 frame deep. they have drawn out 2 frames most of the way. The wild comb is now honey bound. They have the honey stores on the outer edge, but is like the cell hatches and they fill it before the queen gets to lay again. I am a beginner so I do not have any drawn comb to replace some of the other frames. any ideas?

They are holding the Queen back from laying. That should be O.K. this time of the year. Let them pace the Queen. Also make sure you have the Queen.

Am I making the problem worse by feeding them? I'm tring to get them to build more comb.

If you get honey bound you are going to have a possibility of swarming. I would pull out a frame of comb that is full of honey and extract it then replace it. You might try rotating a frame of foundation into the brood nest to help get them to draw comb. If they are not drwing out the comb I would pull the feeders
