Honey Supers

Does it make a difference to the bees or their honey production if you put two medium supers on the hive, for honey production, or just one and when it is filled just take the frames out and add new ones?


When the bees are producing honey in the supers would it be a good idea to rotate the frames filled with honey to the ends and the bare ones into the center? I appreciate your impute.

4181 that depends if you are using fondation or drawn comb. If it's drawn put both of them on at once. If you are useing fondation only put one on until it is 75% drawn then put the new fondation underneath the first super.

If you have a good flow, you can add to supers of foundationo or foundationless frames at a time.

Nectar has to be dried. The more surface area, the quicker it evaporates. More supers are better than less supers for this.
