Grocers tank as wax melter?
Walter T. Kelly's Grocer Tank holds about 15 gallons of honey to heat for bottling.
Does anyone use this unit to melt capping's to separate honey and wax?
I like to melt down my cappings and use the honey in mead or as cooking honey.
I usually use two pots as a double boiler over a hot plate, but this will only initially
hold capping's from about 5 supers, so I need to upgrade. Thoughts? Suggestions?
OK, how about Kelly's multipurpose tank for melting
capping's and separating out the honey? Does anyone
use one of those for that?
