I was going to post last Wednesday that I was going to a family reunion. Then a tornado took down the grain elevator where I was getting my internet. So I called and reinstated my dialup account and before I could post the phone line went out in the midst of more tornados. When I got back I was a week behind on queen rearing and a bee tree that blew down, so I haven't had any time to catch up. My phone service is still intermittent, due to the soaked ground, apparently, and all I have is dialup. I would expect my participation to be intermittent for a while. The internet company sent me a refund check (not a good sign) and when I talked to them they didn't know if they would ever get me service again as the elevator isn't theirs (of course) and they don't know if it will be rebuilt (doubtful). So between slow and sometimes nonexistant service and queen rearing, I may have trouble keeping up.

    Sorry.

We got Hughes net up here in the woods. Satellite internet is great at $60.00 per mounth.

Michael, let us know if you need anything. I often use a Verizon wireless card in my laptop...Sprint makes one as well. Faster than dial up, slower than cable or other copper. Glad you're OK!
