Is it to late????

OK guys; here is a question for you, Is it to late in the season to get bees? I have Hives now!!!
One more question for you, do any of you guys have a plant called Hawkweed? If so do bees like it?

i would suggest catching swarms. join your local bee club for contacts, go with someone to see how its done would be good. good luck,mike

Of course, earlier would have been better, and you may have to feed more, but you could probably make it ok if you were able to get some bees soon. Again, you might have to feed them quite a bit to get them built up...but it is possible to make it ok, in my humble opinion. Good luck!

Have you tried looking for already esablished hives? That would be alot less headache then going and catching swarms and feeding them.
