    Default Feeding 90 Deg's Out

I just hived a new package yesterday. I am feeding a 1:1. The next 7 days it looks to be in 90 deg + range. Will the 1:1 ferment faster than they will take it? Its a tbh with a boradman type inside. With a quart mason jar.

If your mesquite flow is started they may not take it at all.

That's what I'm hopeing for. Now that I got into beekeeping and watching flowers and trees bloom. I see 20 miles west of my hive the mesquites and thistle are blooming like crazy. And at my hives an to the east heavy buds, but has not bloomed yet. What a differance a few miles make.

This is the very first year that the thistles here have not fell victim to the big green weedeater monster. Whenever I come across any solid patch of blooming weeds, I am going around them...Here in Van Zandt county, the vitex are just begimming to show color at the bottoms of the spikes. These were planted last winter---most were sprouts, and a few were almost knee-high. Now the very shortest is waist high and several are almost 8' in height...The truly delightful thing is that they are simply covered over with bloom shoots...I like this plant, as it is supposedly one that will bloom until frost---we'll see.

I wish I could get my Vitex to grow that fast. Mine just seem to sit there a foot tall on this clay. They won't re-bloom unless you cut off the flowers as they wither. If they set seed, they are done for the year.
