    Default We have eggs!!!!

    Greetings all,

Had to share my excitement. Hived my packages last Saturday (4/26) direct releasing the queens. Been a fairly dismal week weatherwise here in Seattle. Was dying of anticipation all week to check in on them yesterday, but to my dismay.....more rain.

Finally, a beautiful, sunny Seattle day today. I opened each hive to find 3 full frames completely drawn out and eggs galore. As a new beekeeper, I was more than a little excited. Now, I'm just looking forward to seeing some capped brood.

Thanks to all who have helped out on this journey so far. Couldn't have done it without you!!!

    JT

Yes, nice day. I checked my hives too. They look pretty good. Need to get two queens from some problem packages that seem to not have a queen. Gotta fix the problem.

    Should be nice tomorrow too!!!
