Hello.
I was wondering if anyone is using standard 1x8 honey supers. If so, where do you purchase your frames, if you don't make your own. And, what are you using for foundation.
Thanks,
Lawrence

Rip the 1x8 to make mediums.
I'm actually a finish carpenter so ripping them down is no problem. I'm just curious about trying out the 1x8 size. I did find that Western Bee sells a frame for the size.

Are you talking about the 7 5/8 size box? Also known as a three quater deep.
Your typical 1 x 8 is 7 1/4" wide.
Thanks for your time, Beehopper
Yep, I know that. I've seen someone using these and I'm just curious. I hate wasting wood. I double checked the Western Bee site and the frames they sell are for the 3/4 supers.
