cant see eggs or larva

I have two new packages hived on 4-12-08 they have drawn lots of comb and I see lots of pollen, some capped honey and what appears to be stored syrup its clear. But what concerns me is that i don't see eggs or larva. This may be due to the fact that I just don't know what I'm looking for.I thought that the pollen would be in the upper portions of the frame , but I I have yellow pollen everywhere. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Are you sure you saw queens and not drone? This picture shows eggs...

Maybe some of this will help. Larva will be white commas in the bottom of the cell, growing to white in liquid filling most of the cell.

The capping's that I saw were just as white as the new comb. I scratched the capping's and there was sweet honey.They are taking about 2 gallons of syrup a week each.

Is this on both packages or just one?

eggs and even larvae are not easy to see in new comb
I bet you're in good shape
wait till this weekend and see if you don't see capped cells
the capping on brood look different than on honey, they're more brown (why is that?)

did you direct release the queen?
if not, how long before she got released?

I hives them on 4-12 and the Queens were released 17th or 18th. I was there when B. Weaver put the queens into the packages . I picked them up myself.

no way you can have capped brood today
an egg gets capped after 9 days

I'm sorry I'm not clear. All that i have capped is honeyI dont think I have ever seen any eggs or larva

I think if you wait a little longer you will find that things are ok. Have patience my friend...sounds to me like things will work out in time. If you have seen the marked queen and she is there, I would just give her a chance to do her thing. Wait a few more days and check on them again. I hope it all works out for you. As others have said, it is hard to see eggs in freshly drawn combs of white wax.

A banked queen might take a week or so to start laying.
