I just did a spring cleaning (With some awesome Help fram a new Beesource friend) of my final living hive. While doing so, a few of my dep frames fell over and my plastic foundation poped out. So, I took the foundation and scarpped the honey offit and am straining it now.

My question... Would the bees hide a few cells of pollen in the middle of a frame of honey?

I ask this as I have a few cells here and there that were MUCH darker and when scraping off the foundation, rather than collasping and the honey coming out, these particular cells stayes together in a clump.

I dug out a few with my fingers from the container I scooped the honey into and they were firm. I broke a couple open and they were not "honey" as we know it, but a firmed almost moist powery substance.

Anyone have any idea what this is?

Also, where those cells were scraped off the plastic foundation, they either lifted with the plastic foundation under them extremely clean, of they left a dark "stain" in that well. In other words, they either liftet right out in sope spots, or stuck leaving a stained hex on the foundatiion.
