    Default Drifting question

If a empty hive or nuc is placed side by side next to an established hive or hives, will the bees drift into the empty hive and fill the frames?

Or will they see it as a potential home to split off to? Or neither.
If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. If you build it, they will fill it.

No but they will rob the empty hive. You might catch a swarm with it.

Bees don't accidentally go into an empty hive and mistakenly think they are home. No. They won't.
