Some time ago I saw plans for building ventilated inner covers with slanted ventilation holes in the sides. I remember that the frame was about 3 1/2" high. I just cannot remember where I saw it. Anyone ever use any of those things?

Hi Peggjam, many thanks for the link. That is exactly what I was looking for. Maybe I'll make some and try them. They should be the thing in hot weather, at least I hope that the bee girls will think so.
