I am wondering when most folk in this area are going to start using syrup and pollen patties to increase hive strength for early splits ?????

I am in Northern IL and I will start putting on Patties and feeding come the end of 1st week of March if the weather is good.

Remembering the late winter deep freeze we had last year, and considering the current roller-coaster temps we're experiencing, I'll wait til early March.
