how to record bloom dates

I want to start somekind of record keeping on bloom dates. Looking for ideas. Thinking about an spreadsheet document. What kinds of data is important to track other than date,plant in bloom, length of bloom, if bees are working it.

we need a LOT more data to do what is discussed in that thread
BTW, anybody posting to that thread should look through it and find one of MountainCamps posts for an example of how to post clear concise data
