Hive inspection log

The January, '08 issue of Bee Culture had an article that referenced this inspection log:

It's similar to a home grown one that I've been using. I've given up inputting on a laptop since it was awkward to use because of the sun, propolis, etc. I found it easier to take notes on paper right by the hive or soon after I get back into the barn.

I'm wondering what anyone else might be using, in any format. I'm particularly interested in any type of database that might be in use.

I just started an MS Access database. Very preliminary right now. I would welcome input on what should be in the database and any features it should have. The big challenge to any database is the reports and forms that get data into and out of the database.

I'll be glad to share the database.
