Hey, I just noticed in the Assoc. Meetings etc. section that there isn't much organization to it. Would it be better if it were organized by region or state like the Pollination, Bee Removal, and other sections?
Just a suggestion

Define better?
I think for someone not a member of beesource, the pollination and bee removal site can be a little confusing. If you go into the sites, its not user friendly or "KISS" for the one time visitor looking for help. I think it would be better if all 50 states came up (even if three pages) where the concept of all states being listed alphabetically could be seen from the start.
As it is now, a couple states come up that were recently posted, but getting the rest of them to come up is a little harder. Certainly not easy for the first time visitor.
Just an observation...![]()
This issue has come up many times and I'm sure it has been addressed in a post. The problem is not with non-members as they see the board without any "personal settings" to change the default. The "problem" is with your individual settings. The reason you only see a couple of states that were recently posted to is due to the settings in your profile, which I have allowed to override the default.
Go to the User CP link and go to Edit Options, under Default Thread Age Cut Off you have yours set to something other than "Show all Threads" or "Use Forum Default". If you wish to view it as it's been set up to be viewed, you'll have to select one of those in your settings.
I think Nathanael is referring to the general forum under associations which is not organized in any fashion and is meant to be used as any other general forum for posting current events.

Thank you Barry. Much better.
Just wanted to say that I like the new Local Assoc. thread. I've noticed that BeeSource comes up a lot when browsing Google for beekeeping related stuff, so hopefully some non-beekeepers will be able to use that section to find assoc.
Thanks Barry and Mike!
