    Default PBS CCD special Sunday

Not sure about your time slot but,

    Nature

    Silence of the Bees

    Sunday, October 28, 8:00pm

CHANNEL 2 (ETPTV / East Tennessee Public Television)

The Season 26 opener probes colony collapse disorder---the dramatic loss of honeybees in North America and Europe. The honeybee is responsible (via pollination) for one of every three bites of food people eat. Included: long-term ramifications.

This program was perhaps the worst "Nova" I've ever seen.

The over-the-top implication that people will have to do hand pollination
was just stupid - what has happened in the part of China where they
filmed the hand pollination was not "CCD" at all - what happened there
was the over-use of overly toxic pesticides to kill all living things except
    the crops being grown.

Nova used to be programs that any science teacher could use as
a "lecture on VCR". Quality has gone downhill, but this one was really poor.
